Hey there, If you want to make an NFont bitmap image the fastest way I've found, you'll need to do the following: Download "The Gimp" Place render-nfont.scm into the Gimp's scripts folder (mine is in GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\scripts) Run the Gimp and use the menu item Xtns->Script-Fu->NFont->Create NFont Drag and drop your saved .png image (or whatever SDL_Image can handle) onto "NFont Maker.exe" NFont Maker may not be perfect. Take the output and make sure that there is no pink dot above and between the " double quote character (and if extended, the diaeresis, code 168). There you go! Load it up with NFont! Alternately, you can draw your own fonts and put pink lines (rgb = 255/0/255) in the top row of the image to indicate spaces between characters. Use these characters in this order (ASCII 33-126): !
